Hensley House is running soberliving as (un)usual. No outside meetings, instead the guys are doing virtual AA meetings from home (kinda neat attending an AA meeting in pajamas) and FaceTime meetings with sponsors. No outside H&I’s for a while, and lots of in-house big book meetings. Plus the guys have ping pong, pool, a dart board, a wall of nerf dart guns with over a thousand darts, two arcade games, air hockey table, foosball table, bb gun shooting range, cornhole, disk golf basket, stacks and stacks of board games, an artist studio, four acoustic guitars, an electric guitar, a bass guitar, amps, a piano, garage band with all the fixin’s, guitar hero, a stack of other X-box and PlayStation games, plus a full gym in the garage not to mention antibacterial hand soap for days!! These fellas are staying busy!! Additionally, we’ve got a hybrid screening process blending the CDC’s protocols with the WHO’s protocols for any newcomers and we’ve limited the number of visitors. We’re happy, healthy, still pet friendly, and doin’ the recovery deal in full force!! Sobriety lives on!!
