Friday Feature: Kingdom Living Iowa Kingdom Living has been providing sober transitional housing across Des Moines since 2016. Currently, they support 171 men and women, and in 2023 alone, they served 668 residents. Their mission is to offer a safe, structured, and peaceful environment for individuals from all walks of life, with most coming from incarceration, treatment centers, or homelessness. Through 12-step recovery programs and employment opportunities, they help unify families and transform lives, providing the foundation for people to live a clean and sober life while becoming productive members of society.
