A new recovery home opened on Salem Street on Tuesday. Twenty-six men will move in June 1. Tippecanoe County has cut opioid overdose deaths four times faster than the national average since 2023, a number that reflects years of hard, unglamorous work by a network of providers, peer counselors and people in recovery who have built, almost from scratch, one of the more complete systems of care in Indiana. Home with Hope is the latest piece of that infrastructure.
