New Sober living Oxford House

Tomorrow, Oxford House Lakefork opens its doors to seven men who are truly serious about their recovery, and that means everything. When I first came to this area, there were only four Oxford Houses. I remember what that felt like, how limited the options were for people trying to find a new way to live. To now see Mount Vernon grow to eight houses is something I can hardly put into words. This isn’t just another house opening. This is seven more chances at a new life. Seven more men choosing something different. Seven more beds where hope, accountability, and brotherhood will live. I’m incredibly grateful to be a part of this journey and to witness recovery growing right here in our community. This is what it’s all about, people helping people, one house at a time.
