We are beyond excited to announce that Eric Ebbole’s offer on a new house has been accepted! 🎉 Closing is scheduled for the end of July, and we couldn’t be more excited about what this means for Serenity House and our community.
After closing, we’ll make a few updates and prepare the other half of the duplex to welcome new residents. Once it’s ready, we’ll be able to add 2 more beds, bringing Serenity House to 37 total beds across 4 houses! ❤️
While this is an incredible step forward, it’s also a reminder of how great the need continues to be. Today, we looked at our waiting list, and it has reached an all-time high of 57 people waiting for the opportunity to begin their recovery journey.
These two additional beds may seem like a small addition, but for two individuals, they represent hope, healing, and the chance to build a life beyond their dreams. They will help reduce our waiting list and give more people the opportunity to start their recovery journey.
