Sober living homes can be a controversial topic, especially when one is opening in a residential neighborhood.
🤔 Some neighbors worry about safety, noise, parking, property values, or how the home will be managed. Those concerns are understandable and shouldn’t be ignored.
But there’s another side to the conversation.
❤️ People working to rebuild their lives need stable housing, structure, accountability, and a supportive environment.
🌱 A responsibly operated sober living home can give residents the foundation they need to remain sober, become productive members of society, and reconnect with their families.
📍 I’m currently working on opening a sober living home in Riverside. My goal is to create a well-managed home that respects the neighborhood while providing people in recovery with a genuine opportunity for a fresh start.
